Overview

This article explains how to resolve the error WSI 00000 Query script generation failed. The requested API operation is not implemented by the CS server when using the 360Eyes universe in SAP BusinessObjects.

• Context: after a BIAR import or 360Suite update

Symptoms

• Error message appears when creating or running WebI reports on the 360Eyes universe.
• Universe queries that previously worked now fail after a BIAR restoration or product update.

Cause

During a BIAR import, SAP BusinessObjects can reset universe connection settings. This may replace the correct database driver with an incorrect or unsupported one, causing the query script generation to fail.

Resolution

1. Open the universe in Information Design Tool (IDT).
2. Navigate to the relational connection: open the Data Foundation and select the connection used by the 360Eyes universe.
3. Verify the database driver: confirm the correct driver is selected. If it has been changed, select the appropriate driver from the list.
4. Save and republish the universe to the repository.
5. Test: create or refresh a WebI report on the 360Eyes universe and confirm the error no longer appears.

Preventing Future Occurrences

To avoid this issue after future updates, disable automatic BIAR import in your 360Suite configuration. This lets you manage universe connections manually and prevents them from being reset during upgrades.
