Overview
This article provides guidance on resolving platform getting stuck in "loading" state after idle or working on another tab using Chrome browser.
Symptoms
- After switching tab or application and getting back to Wiiisdom Cloud Platform, if WCP is open in Chrome, it may occasionally happen that next page change is stuck in "loading state"
Cause
The issue is caused by the interaction between Chrome's behavior of deactivating inactive tabs and the Wiiisdom platform's SSE event tunnel, which remains open.
Solution
- Adjust Chrome Settings:
To prevent Chrome from deactivating the Wiiisdom platform tab, follow these steps:
- Open Chrome and go to
chrome://settings/performance. - Locate the section labeled "Always leave these sites active".
- Add your Wiiisdom platform URL (e.g.,
lvmh-bt.platform.wiiisdom.com) to the list.
- Verify Platform Functionality:
After adjusting the settings, verify that the Wiiisdom platform operates correctly without experiencing latency or disconnection issues.
If the issue persists, consider the following:
- Ensure that no network security tools (such as WAF) are blocking requests from the Wiiisdom platform.
- Check for any ad blockers or extensions that might interfere with the platform's functionality.
- Export network traces during sessions to identify any blocked requests or latency causes.
