Release Cycle

Release Cycle

Overview

Wiiisdom products do not all follow the same release frequency, but they all use the same version numbering pattern, making versions easier to interpret.

Customers can read versions using this simple rule:

  • Product YYYY.X = planned release
  • Product YYYY.X.Y = update to that planned release
To see the list of all the releases, check the releases notes.
For more details, see the explanations below.

Version Format

The version format is:

productName year.mainRelease.updateRelease

The updateRelease part is optional.

Versions are usually written like this:

360Suite 2026.1

or, when an additional fix release exists:

360Suite 2026.1.1

Examples:

  • 360Suite 2025.4
  • 360Suite 2025.4.3
  • Wiiisdom Cloud Platform 2026.3
  • Wiiisdom Cloud Platform 2026.3.1

How Version Numbering Works

year

The year indicates the calendar year in which the release was published.

Example:

  • A version first released in April 2024 starts with 2024

mainRelease

The mainRelease indicates which planned release it is within that year.

This number depends on the product release cadence:

  • 360Suite: quarterly releases
    • versions usually go from YYYY.1 to YYYY.4
  • Wiiisdom for Tableau: quarterly releases
    • versions usually go from YYYY.1 to YYYY.4
  • Wiiisdom Cloud Platform: monthly releases
    • versions usually go from YYYY.1 to YYYY.12

updateRelease (optional)

The updateRelease is added only when an additional version is published after the main scheduled release.

That being said, the intermediate releases are as important as a main release if not more important because they tend to fix issues in the application and/or add new content.

This usually represents:

  • a hotfix
  • an intermediate maintenance release

The number is incremental:

  • 2026.1.1 = first update after 2026.1
  • 2026.1.2 = second update after 2026.1

How to Read a Version Quickly

  • 2026 = the release year
  • first number after the year = the main release in that year
  • optional second number = an update to that release

Example:

  • 360Suite 2026.1 = first planned 360Suite release in 2026
  • 360Suite 2026.1.1 = first update to 360Suite 2026.1

Examples

  • 360Suite 2026.1
First quarterly release of 360Suite in 2026
  • 360Suite 2026.1.1
First update release for 360Suite 2026.1
  • Wiiisdom Cloud Platform 2026.5
Fifth monthly release of Wiiisdom Cloud Platform in 2026
  • Wiiisdom Cloud Platform 2026.5.2
Second update release for Wiiisdom Cloud Platform 2026.5
