License agreement screen always displayed when you open the Designer application on Mac

Condition

The license agreement screen is always displayed when you open the Designer application on Mac

Solution

Cause

The Designer application is most likely ran from the AppTranslocation drive.

Remedy

You'll  have to remove the quarantine flag from the Wiiisdom Ops Designer for Tableau application as it was downloaded from the internet, to avoid the App Translocation mechanism on MacOS.

To do so, please apply this procedure:

  • Open a Terminal in the "Wiiisdom-Ops-for-Tableau-bundle" folder
  • Run the following command:
    xattr -d -r -s com.apple.quarantine KinesisDesigner.app
