There are two ways to transfer or share tasks in 360Suite:
Export/Import — Transfer full ownership of tasks to another user or environment.
Task Sharing — Grant other users or groups access to manage or view tasks without changing ownership.
Choose the method that best fits your scenario:
Scenario | Recommended method |
|---|---|
A user is leaving and their tasks must be reassigned | Export/Import |
Tasks need to be transferred between environments (e.g., DEV → PROD) | Export/Import |
You want to back up tasks before a migration or upgrade | Export/Import |
Multiple users need ongoing access to the same tasks | Task Sharing |
A team needs visibility into another team's scheduled tasks | Task Sharing |
Use this method to extract tasks from one user or environment and import them elsewhere.
In the 360Suite Management Console, go to the Task or Selection tasks view.
Export the desired tasks by selecting the types, statuses, and owners to include. The export produces a .zip archive.
Import the archive into the target environment or under the target user account.
📖 Step-by-step instructions: Export 360 Tasks
Use this method to let other users or groups view or manage tasks without transferring ownership.
In the 360Suite Management Console, open the task you want to share.
Update the Task Sharing Security Matrix to grant the appropriate permissions to the desired users or groups.
Prerequisites: The target users or groups must have both View and Task Sharing permissions in the 360Suite security matrix.
