Choose Custom Storage in Wiiisdom Cloud Platform
Context
When first connecting to the Wiiisdom Cloud Platform, you need to choose where to store your data.
The only choice available are to either be hosted by Wiiisdom Azure Tenant, or your Azure tenant.
We don't have access to other type of storage at the moment, and we don't have it planned either.
This configuration affects:
- Screenshots made by a pipeline;
- Comparison result of non regressions steps;
- Screenshots of the preview for Tableau Version Management;
- Twbx file of the versions made for Tableau Version Management.
Choosing the custom storage is definitive, once you made it, you won't be able to move it elsewhere.
Moving storage may be a possibility in the long run. Although it is not planned for the moment.
Choosing the default configuration
The default configuration is the one that requires the less configuration.
When you first logon, you will be greated with this view:
By clicking on Next, you will arrive to :
Once you accept the message, click on Save, and you are ready to use the Wiiisdom Cloud Platform!
Choosing a Custom Storage
This mode requires a bit more configuration, first of all select "Custom Storage"
When clicking on next, you will have this page :
You will need to test the credentials, and make sure they are valid before being able to continue the configuration.
Using wrong credentials, will show you the following view :
Once your credentials have been validated, you will have the same confirmation as with the default storage:
If you have rotating Access key, do not worry, this is changeable in the Data Storage view in the Admin mode sidebar
Once again, credentials needs to be valid before saving the change.
